Since 2016, Bayside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has offered expert instruction in a relaxed, friendly and inclusive environment.
Located in Mordialloc, our academy supports students of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels - whether you're training for fitness, self-defence, competition, or simply for the love of the art.
Our over 210-square-metre matted facility provides plenty of space to move, learn, and grow. From complete beginners to seasoned grapplers, everyone finds their place here.
Led by founder Peter Polygenis, a 4th Degree BJJ Black Belt with over 29 years of experience, we take a personal and technical approach to teaching - helping each student reach their goals in a respectful, community-first setting.
Above the mats, our upstairs members’ lounge offers a comfortable space for both students and parents to relax. Whether you’re socialising while your kids train or unwinding after class, the lounge includes a pool table, table tennis, and digital entertainment - part of what makes Bayside BJJ feel like home.
